Workshops
Our workshops are open to anyone with any level of ceramic experience, from beginners to expert. Join us in the studio for a workshop of your choice and we will finish your piece in a glaze color of your choice to compliment your project. Your finished piece will be available for pick up roughly 4 weeks out from your workshop, and Easthampton Clay will email you when your piece is ready to come home with you.
Please note: All workshops are adult only (18+) unless otherwise specified in the workshop title and description.

Valentines Day Date Night (Wheel Throwing)
Friday, February 13th, 6-8:30PM
Love is in the air at this workshop to share! You and your sweetheart are invited to join us for a very special Valentines Day night, where participants will work on the potter's wheel to make a unique set of "love mugs". This will be a social workshop, and we will provide all necessary materials. Easthampton Clay will finish your mugs in a glaze color of your choice, we'll reach out when your work is ready to pick up in our studio! One registration includes the cost of you and your partner. -

Valentines Day Date Night (Handbuilding)

Love is in the air at this workshop to share! You and your sweetheart are invited to join us for a very special Valentines Day night, where participants will make a unique set of "love mugs" using handbuilding techniques. This will be a social workshop, and we will provide all necessary materials. Gnome Luminary Making Workshop: Fundraiser for the Children's Advocacy Center of Hampshire County
Friday, February 20th | 6-8:30PM
Instructor: Liz (she/her)
Join us for an evening of light! Participants will be hand building a unique ceramic luminary that is sure to brighten your home this winter.A portion of proceeds from this workshop will be donated to the Children's Advocacy Center of Hampshire County, an organization dear to Easthampton Clay's heart that services children and families in need of therapeutic healing. All materials are included in the cost of the workshop, and EHC will inform participants when their work is fired and ready for pickup.

Coffee Pour Over Workshop
Friday, March 20th | 6-8PM
Instructor: Liz (she/her)
In this workshop, participants will learn to construct a unique coffee pour over vessel using traditional slab and handbuilding techniques. Design and craft your own coffee pour over that will nestle into your favorite mugs for years to come. This project makes the perfect gift for coffee lovers, or something to make you smile when you start your day each morning. At the end of this workshop you will select a glaze of your choice that Easthampton Clay will finish your project with! -

Butter Dish Workshop
Saturday, April 11th, 1-3:30PM
Instructor: Sophia (she/her)
In this workshop, participants will learn to construct a unique, functional butter dish using traditional slab and handbuilding techniques. Design and craft your own two piece butter dish and lid, exploring textures and surface design to make your pieces pop. This project makes the perfect kitchen dish, or gift for someone special. At the end of this workshop you will select a glaze of your choice that Easthampton Clay will finish your project with! We will reach out when your work is ready for pick up. -

Bird House Workshop
Saturday, April 18th, 1-3PM
Instructor: Sophia (she/her)
In this workshop, participants will learn to construct a unique, functional bird house using traditional slab and handbuilding techniques. Design and craft a spring bird house, exploring textures and surface design to make your piece pop. This project makes the perfect garden ornament, or gift for someone special. Mother's Day Tray Workshop
Friday, May 1st, 6-8PM
Instructor: Anna (she/her)
This workshop will be a celebration of mother figures! Using traditional slab and press mold handbuilding techniques, mothers and their loved ones are invited to construct a personalized tray, using textures and surface design techniques to make your piece pop. This workshop makes for the perfect early Mother's Day gift, or a gift to self! We will finish your tray in a glaze selection of your choice and reach out to let you know when your work is fully fired and ready for pick up. Registration covers the cost of one participant. -

Guardians Embodied Through Sculpture with George Rodriguez
Part 1: Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 | 10AM-5PM

Part 4: Saturday, October 17th, 2026 | 10AM-4PM
Join renowned sculpture artist George Rodriguez for this 4 part workshop, including hands on instruction, demonstration and lecture. Using personal narratives and photographs, students will learn to construct their own guardian sculpture using traditional slab, modeling and ornamental design techniques.
