This workshop is 100% free of charge to anyone who identifies as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Color. First come first serve until spots fill! We kindly ask that anyone who does not identify as BIPOC refrain from registering for this particular workshop.

In this workshop students will learn to use traditional handbuilding techniques to create a unique ceramic vase. Come for the community, leave with a vase to brighten your space for years to come! All materials and firing included.

As PRIDE month comes to a close, celebrate with us by building a ceramic planter that is as uniquely beautiful as you are. For a reduced rate, LGBTQIA+ friends and allies are invited to join us for 2 hours of handbuilding in the studio. Using traditional handbuilding and a variety of surface design techniques, participants will learn to construct their planters. Easthampton Clay will finish your planters in a glaze of your choice and reach out when your work is fully fired and ready for pick up. Ages 18+.

Join renowned sculpture artist George Rodriguez for this 4 part workshop, including hands on instruction, demonstration and lecture. Using personal narratives and photographs, students will learn to construct their own guardian sculpture using traditional slab, modeling and ornamental design techniques. Love is in the air at this workshop to share. You and your sweetheart are invited to join us for a fun night in the studio, where participants will work on the potter's wheel to make 'love mugs'. This will be a social workshop with 5 couples in total, and we will provide all materials. Easthampton Clay will glaze finish your mugs in a glaze color of your choice, we'll reach out when your work is ready to pick up in our studio! One registration includes the cost of you and your partner.

Saturday, July 18th, 9AM-12PM
This clinic is designed for kids (ages 7-14) who are excited to get creative this summer! Learn to make your very own Forest Friends Cottage, inspired by fairies, hobbits, and woodland creatures. Using a variety of handbuilding and surface design techniques, students will create a unique cottage scene to adorn their bedrooms, gardens or homes. This clinic runs for 3 hours, from 9am-12pm with a short break at 10:30am. All work will be finished and fired by Easthampton Clay.

Saturday, August 8th | 10am-12pm

Celebrate summer snacking with Easthampton Clay! In honor of Strawberry season, workshop participants will create berry baskets, ideal for rinsing your fruit or veg. Learn to work with slabs, and use a variety of other handbuilding techniques to make a basket that's uniquely yours. At the end of this workshop, participants will select a glaze color of their choice for Easthampton Clay to finish your pieces in. We will email participants when their work is fully fired and ready for pick up.
